Features
Built for designers who review builds and developers who match designs. Every number is read from the page as the browser rendered it.
Select an element and hover another to see the gaps, the insets inside it or the overlap. Labels never overlap each other, and Space pins a measurement to measure from.
A loupe up to 32×, read from the real pixels. It names the CSS colour that paints the point and the token that holds it, in HEX, RGB, HSL, OKLCH, OKLAB or Display P3.
Measure text from its glyphs, not its line box: cap height to baseline, within half a pixel of what is drawn.
WCAG 2.2 ratio with the exact large-text rule, APCA, a scan of the page worst first, and the nearest colour that passes at the same hue.
Drag guides from the rulers. They snap to element edges and centres, take an exact position, and are saved per site.
The side panel shows every matched rule in order: layers, nesting, @scope, container queries, shadow DOM, inherited values and var() chains resolved to their source.
Every tool in one floating bar, with its key in the tooltip. Move it to any edge and it stays there; it never moves by itself.
84 features in 10 groups: 14 available today, the rest on the way. Everything that runs in your browser is free; Pro adds AI and team features.
Why Nitpix
Today you switch between a paid ruler extension, a colour picker, a contrast checker and DevTools. Nitpix does all of it in one bar, for free.
Measuring tools are usually split across paid tiers. Every tool Nitpix has today is free, with no trial and no locked buttons.
Checked to 0.01px against hand-worked ground truth, in two browsers and two pixel ratios, and on real sites every night.
The page is left exactly as it was, the bar stays where you put it, and nothing you inspect leaves your browser.

Accuracy
A ruler you cannot trust is worse than no ruler. Every feature ships with tests at device pixel ratios 1 and 2, in Chrome and Firefox, and every change has to pass them.
